Anxiety management is a lifelong war. NoPlex helps you win the little battles.
When NoPlex was first conceived, NoPlex’s original vision was squarely focused on adults and teens with ADHD. Soon after we first released the app, we began to get feedback from individuals with anxiety letting us know that it helped them immensely. We spoke to our users, better understood how NoPlex could be even more valuable, and adjusted to make it a the best productivity and personal organization app for those struggling with this common and crippling condition.
In the time since, it’s morphed into an arsenal of anxiety-crushing weaponry.
How NoPlex Helps Teens with Anxiety Find Peace
Among the many challenges that anxiety causes, the two that NoPlex most addresses are excessive worry and concentration problems.
Your Horizon provides a new way to focus and minimize overwhelm.
Your Horizon is a dedicated place for the things that you would like to accomplish in a given day. While you collect, manage and curate your Tasks in a separate view, you move chosen Tasks into your Horizon on the day you want to address them. When you use NoPlex, your primary view is focused and intentional. Unnecessary options are removed. You can’t see non-Horizon Tasks. You’re notified only on Horizon Tasks that are running out of time. Your Horizon also provides a better understanding of the types of Tasks and responsibilities you struggle with the most, arming you with the insights needed to focus on the strategies that set you up for success.
Your Tasks take care of themselves.
When Tasks are overdue, they let you know. When they’ve grown old and stale, they let you know (this helps avoid the common ADHD practice of “thought hoarding!”). No more worrying that you let something crucial slip. No more worrying that you forgot about an important due-date.
Routines do the remembering for you.
Routines are groups of Tasks that belong together and which can either come to life on-demand or on a schedule.
Example: If you need to prepare for a weekend trip, the dozen-or-so Tasks that you need to perform can exist as a Script (fuel up the car, ask Uncle Buck to feed the goldfish, pack...). When it’s time to prepare, either run the Script or schedule it to run the day before you leave.
Routines are great for weekend chores, after-school Tasks, seasonal responsibilities, etc., but most importantly, they help relieve the stress that accompanies needing to remember every aspect of responsibilities that we may only need to address a few times per year.
Plexies make sure you don’t miss the easy-to-miss things
Do you remember to pack your soccer uniform? To put the thing in your backpack that you promised to give to a friend? Yeah, neither do we. And when you struggle with anxiety, that persistent feeling that something will be missed can be a huge source of stress. NoPlex identifies and manages life’s little things and makes sure that you don’t miss anything important. Search by keyword or browse thousands of relevant Tasks that you can add to your Task list.
Your Supporter is there when you need them.
You can connect your NoPlex account to that of a loved one, friend, family member, or any other person who can provide backup. They'll receive notifications about your progress (or lack of progress) on any Task you add them to, and they can even step in and complete Tasks for you when necessary. It feels good to have that additional insurance policy — knowing that important things will still be handled, even if you somehow miss them.
A single click provides your supporter with a unique link that lets them sign up and automatically links you together once their account has been created. You can remove or change your supporter at any time just as easily.
As easy as 1-2-3.
